Flu vaccine: For those patients with egg allergy who need the flu vaccine, please contact our office to set up for allergy skin testing to the flu vaccine. Be sure the patient is off antihistamines for 1 week prior to testing. Also not all pediatricians are participating with the flu vaccine testing, please inform the staff of the patient's pediatrician so that we can schedule according as well as test for the proper vaccine as they can vary depending on the pediatrician's office.
Reminder: a limited number of Flu vaccines are available for our egg allergic patients whose pediatrician's office is not participating.
